Puget Sound Rail Map
To celebrate the approval of Sound Transit Proposition 1, I created a London Tube style map of Sound Transit 2 Link light rail extensions, First Hill connector, and future corridors for HCT, Eastside Rail Now’s proposed commuter rail line in the BNSF right of way (which ST might be a partner in funding), and the proposed Seattle Streetcar network. Simply speaking, it is a representation of the rail system when ST 2 is done in 2023 with potential lines for ST 3.
I do not intend to show all potential stations on future corridors.
I spent a few hours creating this map from scratch compared to the days on my still unfinished Fantasy map that was drafted on paper.
A suitable for high resolution printing (original vector) is available.

See the that was featured in a Design Commission Gallery exhibition Keep in mind that this was not completed. I might return to finish it someday.
Seattle Transit Blog featured my map in an article.
Updated to Version 3: contains the Rainier Valley offset to add uniqueness and familiarity to the map. Adjusted Sounder alignment to be more direct and reflect actual alignment. Added U District streetcar terminal label and Brooklyn station interchange symbol. Removed intermediate Tacoma Link station.
Version 2: Minor edits, fixed incorrect Ballard streetcar alignment.
